Owner was nice and friendly.
Owner was nice and friendly.. Can just place the key on the table when you check out if the owner is not there
It’s far from the train station and there’s a lot of small streets around with alot hostel. Need to find properly and the owner is not in the hostel. She will cycling around and luckily we met her before we reached the hostel.if not need to wait for her to come back. Others guests were too loud and I can hear them from outside the building. Can’t aleep well because of the others guests were too hyper for the whole night.

What was the highlight of Railway Traveler B&B
Some Goods, some bads, but mostly acceptable.
The location is good if you are travelling with your own vehicle (or rental) or by train. It is walking distance from the train station but not with luggages. The surface of the road is bumpy to say the best. We arrived after lunch hours so the owner/operator, Mr. Tsai drove us to a "nearby" food stand to get some local favorites. However, they were not something you will post on Facebook. The transportation in Taitung is not very walker friendly. Some mode is expensive, other is time consuming. So, Mr. Tsai said most of the people travel with their own car or rent a motor bike/scooter. The building of this establishment is quite new. There is a car park space. So if there is more than one car, everybody else park on the street. And there are many other similar facilities in the vicinity, so I can imagine the crowd at night. The room assigned to us is located on the second floor. I found it troublesome to take my luggage up the stairs because the steps were so clean and almost slippy on these tile steps. The room was very clean but made me feel like I am staying in my daughter's room (if I have a daughter). The beds are good. We slept well there. A/C works well and quiet in the neighborhood except when the famous trash collector truck drove by. I was very impressed with the shower. I almost felt like not to use soap since the water is so strong that may just rinse out all dirts from my skin. Mind you, I like that. Oh, if you are reading this, I am assuming you are not from Taiwan. So, this facility may not be very suitable for foreigners. But, I didn't see too many foreigners during the week I was in Taitung.
Climbing stairs with my luggages. No restaurants in the nearby area, even near the train station. This city only has little more than 100 thousand people.

The owners were very helpful, when asked. They also arranged a pick up from the train station, upon my arrival.
